Where Mountains Meet Miracles !!!
Success Story of GPS Koz Mutlai Kalam Swat, a School outsourced to Qafela. At QAFELA, we firmly believe that education does more than change an individual’s life—it transforms families, communities, cultures, and even entire villages. Through our 10-year Government Primary Schools Project under the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan, we are bringing quality education to some of the province’s most underserved far flung communities in District Swat and District Buner. One of our most inspiring success stories is Government Primary School Mutlai Kalam, a remote school located at the foot of the mountains neighbouring Ushu and Matiltan Valleys , where access to education was extremely limited and girls’ education was almost non-existent. When QAFELA assumed responsibility for the management and operation of the school, enrollment stood at just 18 students. Understanding the needs of the community, Qafela appointed qualified female teachers, created a safe and welcoming learning environment that encouraged parents to send their children to school. Today, enrollment has surpassed 293 students—an extraordinary achievement that demonstrates the community’s growing trust in education and QAFELA’s commitment to quality education. This remarkable progress proves that dedication of staff and organizations has the power to meet miracles. At QAFELA, we are proud to be part of this educational transformation, working hand in hand with the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure that every child, regardless of where it lives, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
