Diya Rural Health Center (DRHC) – One-Year Community Healthcare Project
The Diya Rural Health Center (DRHC) is a community-based healthcare initiative established by QAFELA to improve access to affordable and quality primary healthcare services in Tehsil Behrain, District Swat. The project successfully operated a 10-bed rural health center, providing outpatient consultations, basic medical treatment, and preventive healthcare services to underserved communities. A sustainable community health membership system and active Men’s and Women’s Community Boards strengthened community ownership, transparency, and participation, ensuring effective and accountable healthcare service delivery.
