PROJECT OVERVIEW
Health Education Support and Scholarship Program for Marginalized Youth in Upper Swat (2-Year Project)
Health Education Support and Scholarship Program for Marginalized Youth in Upper Swat was implemented by QAFELA to improve access to quality education and technical skills for marginalized and economically disadvantaged youth. The project focused on supporting orphaned and vulnerable students, promoting girls’ education, and creating equal educational opportunities through awareness campaigns and scholarship assistance.
In partnership with Falcon College of Health Science, Madyan Swat, QAFELA awarded 50% scholarships to deserving students and facilitated professional and technical training in Pharmacy, Ultrasound, Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), and Certificate in Information Technology (CIT). More than 250 students benefited directly from the initiative. Alongside educational support, the project strengthened 100+ community organizations through networking and capacity-building, contributing to sustainable educational development, improved employability, and stronger community participation across District Swat.
