PROJECT OVERVIEW
Distribution of Hygiene Kits for Orphan and Vulnerable Students
The Distribution of Hygiene Kits for Orphan and Vulnerable Students project was implemented by QAFELA to improve the health, hygiene, and well-being of orphaned and disadvantaged children in Union Council Madyan, District Swat. Recognizing that good personal hygiene is essential for children’s health, dignity, and academic performance, the project aimed to ensure that vulnerable students had access to basic hygiene supplies and the knowledge needed to maintain healthy practices.
Under this initiative, QAFELA identified orphaned and vulnerable students and distributed hygiene kits containing essential items such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other personal hygiene materials. In addition, awareness sessions were conducted to educate students on personal hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy living habits. The project was implemented in close coordination with schools and local communities to ensure transparency and effective outreach.
